John Stillwaggon, along with Karen Abusaleh, leads a team of 13 professionals, providing you expertise and experience in the fields of general accounting, business consultation, tax, audit, and non-profit and governmental services.
John Stillwaggon, CPA, CGFM
John graduated from Grove City College in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting Degree. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1987 and a Certified Government Financial Manager in 1995. He served as a manager at KPMG and a partner in two regional firms. Mr. Stillwaggon has 27 years of audit, tax and consulting experience with manufactuing, retail, healthcare and tax exempt entities. While his primary focus has been nonprofit and governmental entities, his for-profit experience is complemented by Karen Abusaleh's in-depth for-profit background. He has instructed numerous training courses and written articles relating to nonprofit subjects. His most recent presentation related to social enterprises. In addition, John instructed the Advanced Accounting Course at Grove City College, Spring 2007 semester.
John is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and is the Firm Representative for the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations. He serves on the Board of Directors of PANO and the Community Resources for Growth. While a 25 year member of the Institute of Management Accountants, John served as President of the Harrisburg Chapter and as a member of the National Board of Directors.
