Joseph C Paparone II, CPA 
Joe is the Managing Partner of Paparone, Stillwaggon & McGill.  He became associated with the firm, and predecessor firms, in 1991 and became a Partner in 1998.  Joe is one of the firm’s experts in Management Information Systems, and offers executive level consulting in this field.  Among Joe’s clients are many representatives of the nonprofit niche, including a private educational institution for troubled youth.  He also has extensive experience in the governmental auditing area, especially with municipalities and school districts.  He has also performed fraud audits for municipalities. 

Joe is past Treasurer of the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce and Grove City Revitalization, Inc.  He is also a past member of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Mercer County Development Corporation.  Joe is currently the Treasurer of Grove City Country Club and serves on the Board of Directors of Mercer County State Bank. Joe is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a past member of the Executive Committee of the Northwest Chapter of the PICPA, and Network Professionals, Inc.

 A graduate of Grove City College in 1991 with a degree in Accounting, Joe’s recent  continuing professional education includes AICPA national nonprofit conferences and CEA programs as well as the Polaris International Leadership Development program.

John Stillwaggon, CPA, CGFM 
John  graduated from Grove City College in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting Degree. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1987 and a Certified Government Financial Manager in 1995.  He served as a manager at KPMG and a partner in two regional firms. Mr. Stillwaggon has 23 years of audit, tax and consulting experience with over 70 nonprofit entities.  He has instructed numerous training courses and written articles relating to nonprofit subjects.  His most recent presentation related to social enterprises.  In addition, John instructed the Advanced Accounting Course at Grove City College, Spring 2007 semester.

John is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and is the Firm Representative for the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations. He serves on the Board of Directors of PANO and the Community Resources for Growth.  He is also a Member of the Institute of Management Accountants, having served as President of the Harrisburg Chapter and as a member of the National Board of Directors.

John’s recent professional education includes: 2004 AICPA National Government Accounting and Auditing Update, 2005 PICPA Local Government Conference, and other courses in the last two years including fraud in governmental and nonprofit environments and governmental and nonprofit updates. John is also an instructor for internal CPE on auditing governmental and nonprofit organizations.  He has volunteered in numerous roles, including Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce, President (2006) and Treasurer; Christian East African and Equatorial Development Trust, Founder/Treasurer; Eden Christian Academy, Finance Committee Member; Pittsburgh American Heart Association, Planned Giving Committee; Leadership Shenango, Instructor and Outstanding Mentor
